It's that time of year (I guess?!) - lots of babies are being born!!!!

It has been such a sweet honor to be able to design so many announcements for dear friends recently.

But enough about my thoughts... let me introduce you to my four most favorite little munchkins in the whole wide world.

We're taking a break from all things baby...baby shower invites, baby announcements, etc...to highlight a fun little project I had the honor of doing this past month.

Steph G contacted me about designing business cards for her The Divine Living Space interior design business. Now to be completely honest, this request was a bit nerve racking for me as Steph is an awesome interior designer.

Thankfully she loved the first design I sent to her so we went from there.

They turned out pretty nice, huh?

create; - verb: to make or bring into existence something new

For Christmas a good friend of mine bought me a sign that says simply "create." Many would bipass this sign for something that read "faith" or "family" or even "love." Although those signs would have a place in our home as well, I couldn't help but think fondly of the word she chose for me. As I thanked her for the thoughtful gift, she further told me that she felt like more than ever in my life this word described me in so many ways. She couldn't have been more right!

Create. That truly is what I love to do.

Not only do I create things for my business, iDesign, but far more importantly, God has also brought a sweet new creation into our lives. Nora Marie was born July 13th, 2009 at 12:49 am. Weighing in at 7 lbs and 5 ounces. Measuring 20 inches.

Create. Isn't it amazing that a word can mean so many things?

A good friend of mine is due to have her baby any day now. I was fortunate enough to play a small part in this little miracle. The top two are a couple of the invitation options I created for her shower. The thank you notes were created for Kristina to match the invitation we ended up using (2nd option). Recently I stumbled across a passion of mine that must have been hidden by my many layers. Design. Specifically, the designing of invitations and announcements. In light of this I launched iDesign.
